To promote, foster, educate and encourage public interest in Florida life from pioneer times to the present by researching artifacts significant to the collection and by collecting, preserving, restoring, arranging and displaying articles of historical significance aimed at depicting pioneer family life in the State of Florida through an organized community effort.
